Day 10-My first visit to Yellow Crane Tower 黄鹤楼

Today, I went to visit the Yellow Crane Tower. It is located on Snake Hill in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It overlooks the thousand-mile Yangtze River. Featured by stiff uprightness, uniqueness and magnificence, it has become a world-famous scenic spot. Quite a lot of literators in the past dynasties visited the tower and wrote down numerous immortal masterpieces on it.

Everyone smiling for the camera!!
Who is that person beside Ron?

A nine-meter (about 30 feet) long and six-meter (about 20 feet) wide painted porcelain picture which depicts clouds, rivers and cranes to represent a romantic mood in the heaven.

There are abundance of things to see. When I went to the third floor , there are many poems written to praise the tower in different. The most exciting part, which is also my favourite part of the journey is when I visit the top of the tower,I saw a fabulous panoramic view of Yangtze River, its bridge and the surrounding buildings in Wuhan City.Cool!!

Reflection:
China is much more than just a country. The heritage and history of this beautiful country that spans back over 5,000 years, virtually makes it a wonderland for me!!I have taken tons of photos to remember this beautiful and captivating scenery.Although Singapore does not have a rich history and culture as compared to China. But, at least I'm quite delighted that the goverment put in efforts to preserve some old monuments in Chinatown.Today, Chinatown in Singapore remains a rich repository of major heritage landmarks, food showcases and quaint shops. Some may think monuments are just trash but personally I feel that it is "historic" and represents or actually means something worth saving. It is important to keep as much history of our country as possible as it is interesting and educational to know what our ancestors built.
