Day 2-touring around campus

9.30am-We gathered at the main lobby of our hostel at 9.30am before the student leaders bring us to tour around the school.We were then given a card each that looks like ez-link for us to buy food in their canteen.

When finished ordering the food you wanted to eat,you need to place this card onto the card reader and they will deduct the price according to the food you have ordered.The card costs 100 rmb,80 rmb value and 20 rmb for deposit.

We went to the classroom which we will be using for our lesson and Ms Noe is briefing us on our 6 weeks schedule.

After touring around the school, its free and easy time.The students bring us to shopping mall to enjoy the entertainment.

On the way out of the campus, I spotted this beautiful alley so decided to take a photo of it.

While walking around i spotted this police report system. It is for the civilians to report any police cases.You just need to press the button and speak into the speaker.

REFLECTION:

The Chinese china kids are very keen to study as they came from different provinces just to study in a better school.However in Singapore,the Singaporeans took the education as for granted.Education is equivalent to knowledge, thus it is something you need to go for and not it wait for you to go and learn.I admire the intelligence ,hardworking nature of my new found China friends.Personally, I feel a great sense of respect for many of them as they are not just academic achievers but social ones.Beside that,because of the currency rate between Singapore and china, some Singaporeans might just take everything for granted.This also will help us to learn how to spent money smartly.
